
Institute of Industrial Research, established in 1992, is an independent professional organization.
The main activities of the Institute:
- Development, production and implementation of various environmental and energy saving equipment;
- Development and introduction of improved technologies and equipment for burning fuel;
- Conduct environmental studies and assessments, as well as energy and environmental surveys of industrial enterprises with
the issuance of the relevant recommendations.
Institute of Industrial Research on the basis of energy-ecological survey of industrial enterprises in development, and in each case depending on the availability and appropriateness of investments together with the enterprise-customer individually selected set of measures, technologies and equipment that reduce specific energy consumption and environmental protection. In any market conditions, competitive manufactured goods implies lower or comparable cost and, consequently, energy consumption per unit of output. Unfortunately, current energy consumption at the enterprises of Ukraine and other CIS countries significantly, sometimes several times higher than the average European. Obviously, the reduction of anthropogenic pressures on the environment such proceedings could not be ensured not only for economic reasons but also because of burning more fuel and thus increase the toxic load on the atmosphere. The main route of traffic to competitive products is to reduce specific fuel consumption, which not only reduces the cost of production, but also helps protect the environment.

For over 8 years of the Institute of Industrial Research deals with global climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, is preparing materials for applications for projects of joint implementation of the reconstruction of district heating systems.
